Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

  • Contact and business information, including name, email, telephone number, company, and inquiry details.
  • Account information, including authorized users, roles, login activity, multi-factor authentication activity, and password-security records.
  • Customer-provided operational records, such as suppliers, customers, parts, assets, deposits, contracts, documents, dates, notes, and recovery outcomes.
  • Technical and security information, including IP address, browser or device details, audit events, session information, and application error records.
  • Subscription and billing identifiers. Payment-card and bank details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by Recapture Ops.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process subscriptions, respond to inquiries, send requested notifications, support customers, maintain audit history, troubleshoot errors, improve functionality, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

How information may be shared

Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, email delivery, payment processing, security, backups, and application operations. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

Customer responsibilities

Organizations using Recapture Ops control the business records they submit and are responsible for providing appropriate notices, obtaining necessary permissions, limiting access, and determining how long their records should be retained.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and audit history, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customers may contact us regarding account closure or deletion requests, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Security

Recapture Ops uses administrative, technical, and application safeguards designed to protect information. These include role-based access, multi-factor authentication, encrypted document storage, secure cookies, rate limiting, audit logging, and restricted server access. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and sessions

The service uses cookies and similar session technologies that are necessary for authentication, CSRF protection, application security, and account functionality. Recapture Ops does not require third-party advertising cookies to operate the application.
