Terms of service

Last updated July 24, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of Recapture Ops. By creating an account or using the service, the customer agrees to these terms.

Service

Recapture Ops provides software for tracking supplier credits, returnable assets, deposits, contract increases, renewals, documents, reminders, and related operational records. The service supports business workflows but does not provide legal, tax, accounting, collection, or financial advice.

Accounts and authorized users

Customers are responsible for accurate account information, authorized-user access, password security, multi-factor authentication, and activity performed through their accounts. Accounts may not be shared outside the subscribed organization except as expressly authorized.

Customer data

Customers retain ownership of the business data they submit. Customers grant Recapture Ops the limited right to host, process, back up, transmit, and display that data as necessary to provide, secure, and support the service. Customers are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and retention of submitted data.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed according to the price and billing interval shown at checkout or on an approved invoice. Stripe-hosted services may be used for online payments and subscription management. Taxes, usage terms, refunds, cancellation timing, and renewal terms are governed by the checkout or invoice terms presented to the customer.

Free trials

A free trial may be offered for the period configured by Recapture Ops. Trial access may be limited, changed, or discontinued. Continued use after the trial requires an active subscription or approved manual billing arrangement.

Acceptable use

Customers may not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, upload malicious code, bypass access controls, probe or disrupt security, access another customer's information, send abusive communications, or use the platform for unauthorized surveillance or unlawful collection activity.

Recovery results

Recapture Ops does not guarantee that a supplier will issue a credit, an asset will be returned, a customer will pay a charge, or a contract increase will be enforceable or collected. Results depend on customer records, agreements, suppliers, customers, internal procedures, and timely action.

Availability and changes

We work to maintain a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be improved, replaced, or discontinued as the product develops. Scheduled maintenance, security events, service-provider outages, and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect availability.

Intellectual property

Recapture Ops and its software, design, documentation, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to customers except for the limited right to use the service during an authorized subscription.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, or use that threatens the service or other customers. Upon termination, access may end and data may be deleted according to the applicable retention process.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Recapture Ops disclaims warranties not expressly stated in a written agreement and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Any governing-law, venue, service-level, or negotiated commercial terms stated in an order form or written agreement will control over conflicting general terms.
